Sabin Tambrea (Sabin Țambrea; born 18. November 1984) in Târgu Mureș is german-romanian theater and film actor.

Personal life and Career[edit]

Sabin Tambrea was born in Romania and comes from a family of musicians. At the time of the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu his father fled during a concert tour in France to Germany 1986 and on year later he was able to organize for the rest of us to join him through the German Family reunification Program. In 1987 Sabin Tambrea moved together with his mother and his sister to a city called Marl. When his mother found work in the Philharmonic Orchestra Hagen they moved to Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia. He started with violin classes when he was four years old. He was pretty talented and won a few prizes, but he would always faint before going on stage. His mother signed he up for the children’s choir to help him get used to being on stage. This was his first contact with the theater, and he immediately fell in love with this world.[1]

At the age of 18, Tambrea finished music lessons to pursue acting. In 2006 he started to study in the Ernst Busch the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin where he educated by 2010 to actor. While still a student, Tambrea was accepted as a theatrical actor at the Berliner Ensemble, where he appeared on stage in 2008 with other young actors in Claus Peymann's staging of Frank Wedekind's Spring Awakening as Melchior.
