1. Formation of Company and Operations[edit]

Established in the year 1988, at Surat, (Gujarat, India) we, “Sahiba Limited” is a prominent manufacturer, exporter and supplier of an excellent assortment of Cotton Laces, Designer Laces, Garment Laces, Embroidery Laces, etc. Offered products are manufactured at our sophisticated infrastructure in compliance with the set international quality standards following guidelines that aid us to accomplish all the desired tasks in an organized way.

  • 1990- Owing to continual efforts and supportive team,  became one of the biggest weaving houses in a short span of three years
  • 1992- Expanded the markets and ventured into Overseas Trading
  • 1994- Announced an all Exclusive Indian ethnic SKD line
  • 1998- With gradual advancements, processing house was set up
  • 2001- Expanded the processing house to a full fledged Mill
  • 2003- In no time, the capacity of the process house was doubled and then there was no turning back
  • 2005- Embroidery unit was set which added to the list of existing verticals of weaving and dyeing.
  • 2008- Announced an all Exclusive Garment Set up
  • 2009- Owing to over whelming response in 2008, garment unit saw major scale of expansion
  • 2011- Time when embroidery was the most demanded value addition in textiles; Sahiba expanded its embroidery unit to offer the customers unique and latest products.
  • 2014- Digital printing gained popularity among users and like always leaving no stones unturned Sahiba set up one of the biggest digital printing studio.
  • 2015- Sahiba inaugurated its operational premises in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  • 2015- Sahiba’s embroidery unit was one of Asia’s biggest units in terms of infrastructure.
  • 2016- Sahiba had biggest digital printing machine, globally.
  • 2017- Embroidery unit expanded to being the most versatile value addition unit.
  • 2017- Another office was set up in Bangalore, capital of Karnataka and Gurugram, Haryana.
  • 2017- After tapping India’s potential market, they spread wings internationally, with its first international office in Dubai.

Weaving: Weaving is a method in which two sets of yarn/threads are interlinked together to create a fabric base. Sahiba weaves 36 million meters per annum which includes pure, polyester and other blends.

Processing: Dyeing and printing are the two prime processes that a fabric undergoes. They're pretty much the heart and soul of any fabric. The complete Dyeing process comprises of pre-treatment, dyeing and finishing. Sahiba, with its mammoth capacity of dyeing 3 million meters in a mere span of a month, offers dyes on a wide range of materials including polyester, cotton, rayon and blends. The quantity is achieved on a consistent basis without compromising on the quality at all.

Printing: At Sahiba, printing is done under two categories, namely Table Printing and Flat Bed (Conventional printing). Table printing method produced 25 lac meters of fabric annually while using traditional method gives a massive output of 12 million meters per annum.

Digital Printing: Digital technology is the answer of the century, with being in the most fave list of all designers across the globe. With 10 high-tech Regianni machines, producing a whopping 2 million meters monthly, Sahiba’s digital printing studio stays ahead of its counterparts by a country mile, in terms of both- produce & standards. The flexibility of printing on both- man made as well as natural fibres, Digital printing stays right on top of the demand chart. Having a design library of more than 25000 designs, and printing a wide variety of products like suits, sarees, gowns, kaftans, gowns, anarkalis, lehngas, skirts, scarves and every possible garment, Sahiba has established itself at the top of the Digital printing world.

Embroidery: Being among Asia’s biggest infrastructure, Sahiba’s laces and embroidery wing needs no introduction. Set up in Surat, Gujarat, the unit outsources embroidered laces to some of the top notch international fashion and lingerie brands. The quality and designs are unmatchable. Employing state of the art machinery that includes 150 multi head embroidery machines and 70 Schiffli machines, Sahiba manufactures 209 million meters of embroidery and 50,000 meters of lace annually. The produce includes exquisite work of designing for cotton laces, designer laces, garment laces and embroidery laces.

Garment: Putting to use 600 garment sewing machines, Sahiba produces an unbelievable 4 million meters of garment, annually. These superior quality garments are fabricated as a result of extensive trends study, premium material and futuristic tech. The produce includes classy men’s wear, finest quality women’s wear, comfortable children’s wear and elegant home furnishings.
