Saidmurod Davlatov (born June 6, 1978) is a Tajik writer, lecturer, community activist, and author of over 20 books in Tajik, English, and Russian. In 2019, he was included in the top 100 most influential Muslims in Russia[1] and was recognized by the largest Russian publishing house Eksmo as a bestselling author.[2][3]
Biography[edit]
Saidmurod Davlatov was born on June 6, 1978, in the mountainous village of Darg in the Sughd region of Tajikistan. He is the tenth child in the family. His father died when he was one year old. After the start of the civil war in Tajikistan, he emigrated to Moscow.[4] After finishing school, he entered three universities at once, but due to the difficult financial situation, he had to leave his studies in his native Tajikistan and leave to work in Moscow.[5]
In 2007 he founded the SAMO International Center for Human Development. As of 2019, more than half a million people have completed SAMO's courses.[6]
His training in the sphere of personal development are held in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, China and Malaysia.
In 2019, he was included in the top 100 most influential Muslims in Russia.[1] In the same year, Eksmo, the largest publishing house in Russia, recognized Davlatov as a bestselling author. His book "Everyone can become rich" topped the 20 best-selling books of the Eksmo publishing house.[2][3]
In 2020, Saidmurod Davlatov began work on the autobiographical film Mentor, where he played a role about his life path. Futura Magnum studio team, led by Mukhiddin Muzaffar, has been working on the film during three years.[7][5][8]
In 2020, Davlatov co-authored the book “Think big” with Brian Tracy[9] and the book “Pillars of success” with Jack Canfield.[10] Pillars of success entered the top 100 best-selling books on the Amazon world platform.
Saidmurod Davlatov is engaged in charity work, in particular education, humanitarian support for the poor regions of Tajikistan, and financial education.[5] Davlatov pays scholarships to the best students in 64 schools. In 2013, he donated 174,000 books to all eleventh-grade schoolchildren across Kyrgyzstan.[11][12]
