The Salt Network is a church network that works to plant churches at universities.[1] The name is related to the college ministries at each of these churches called the Salt Company. The Salt Network was officially formed in 2016 out of Cornerstone Church (Ames), who started by planting their first church at The University of Iowa in 2009.[2] Since then, The Salt Network continues to plant churches focused on college students at major university centers. The network plants the church and the college ministry (the Salt Company) simultaneously.
