Samuell Farms is a residential neighborhood within Mesquite, Texas, United States; In the 1930's the unincorporated land, currently know as the Samuell Farms neighborhood, was the summer home of the well-known surgeon and philanthropist, William Worthington Samuell. After Dr. Samuell's death in 1937, the city had many disputes over what to do with all of his land. For many years, the property was primarily used by hikers. The land was eventually divided into two sections. One section was developed into Samuell Farms park, and the other section was developed into the Samuell Farms residential neighborhood. The residential neighborhood and the park are now connected to each other with trail paths. Samuell Farms neighborhood is located off of Highway 352 and has grown to 1,677 residents. The average resident's age is 43 years old. The neighborhood consists of 79% homeowners.
