Sarah A.K. Ahmed is the director of the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East (FRRME), a Christian-run charity that helps refugees in the Islamic countries in the Middle East.[1]

Biography[edit]

Ahmed was born in Baghdad on November 20, 1987, and raised there. She graduated with a Bachelor in Dental Science and Oral Surgery from the University of Baghdad, College of Dentistry. also she Studied at the University of Rochester in New York, United States of America between 2011-2012. Finished a course in Public Policy in UMASS through the IYLEP in 2009. Also finished with a certificate of Interfaith Dialogue and Social Justice at Stony Point Center in New York. Finished Botox and Filler training certification course with Esthetic Medical Educator training. Through the Orange county Institute was certified with as a Life Coach. In October 2017 she was also recognized as a Project Management Professional to be among few hundred thousands in the world.

In 2010 she left her work in Jordan as a dentist and decided to do a different kind of journey of studying, peace making, and activism. She was invited for three years on a row, to the UN CSW to speak about women rights, participate in the panels and to represent Iraq. Also spoke at Anti War conference in Syracuse and participated on a panel that is called, ‘Human face of War’ and was able to show the true Iraqi Human face of war.

She lunched her initiative “Because, I love Peace” in 2013 and did a lot of speaking engagements and workshops around america to be able to collect letters and to built the bridges between Americans and Iraqi people. She was able to represent the initiative and her work on it on TEDxBaghdad in 2013 as a participant interviewee. Also Dr. Ahmed was able to share all the laters with the Iraqi Audience. Because I Love Peace became a recognized NGO in 2017 The promotes peace making, youth and educational development.

Dr. Sarah AK Ahmed is pronounced for her charity work, Relief for refugees and idps, and has many projects that deal with persecuted minorities, for the physically impaired, and for those in need. She has the reputation of the mother Teresa of this age.
