Save the Cinema: Behind the Curtain is a Sky Cinema documentary released on Sky and via Now TV on January 9th 2022[1]. The film presents the true story of Liz Evans, Director of the Carmarthen Youth Opera and the real life battle to save Carmarthen's Lyric [2].

Its release precedes a dramatised version of the story as portrayed in the British Drama, Save the Cinema starring Jonathan Pryce, Samantha Morton, Tom Felton, Adeel Akhtar and Susan Wokoma.
