Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark 2 is an upcoming horror film directed by André Øvredal, based on the children's book series of the same name by Alvin Schwartz. Serving as a sequel to the 2019 film, the screenplay was adapted by Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman. The film will star Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Natalie Ganzhorn, and Dean Norris.

Development[edit]
On April 23, 2020, it was announced that a sequel to Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is officially in development, with André Øvredal returning to direct and Paramount Pictures (who absorbed CBS Films as part of the Viacom/CBS re-merger) distributing.[1][2] Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Natalie Ganzhorn and Dean Norris will reprise their roles with Dan and Kevin Hageman returning as writers and Guillermo del Toro returning as producer.[3]
