1985 – SECO/WARWICK is a registered trademark. In Poland, SECO/WARWICK Sp. z o.o. – a joint venture with 50% share of SECO/WARWICK Corp. and 50% share of the Polish party – starts its operations 6 years later.

2002 – SECO/WARWICK Sp. z o.o. acquires the intellectual property and the business name of Camlaw Ltd.

2003 – SECO/WARWICK Sp. z o.o. acquires 100% of shares in Elterma S.A.

2004 – Moscow sales office is established.

2005 – SECO/WARWICK Sp. z o.o. takes over 100% of shares in the US company SECO/WARWICK Corp. (the very company that in 1991 invested in SECO/WARWICK Sp. z o.o. together with Trans-Vac).

2006 – SECO/WARWICK Sp. z o.o. establishes SECO/WARWICK (Tianjin) Industrial Furnace Co., Ltd. – a joint venture with Tianjin Kama Electric from China.

2007 – SECO/WARWICK Sp. z o.o. is transformed into SECO/WARWICK S.A. and on the 5th of December is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange for the first time. The same year, SECO/WARWICK S.A. takes over 50% of shares in California-based Retech LLC, global leader in the titanium metallurgy.

2008 – SECO/WARWICK S.A. establishes a joint venture with Allied Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd. from India, which is now SECO/WARWICK Allied.

2010 – SECO/WARWICK S.A. and Retech LLC start a new company in China: SECO/WARWICK Retech Thermal Equipment Manufacturing Tianjin Co., Ltd.. Retech LLC. is fully owned by SECO/WARWICK S.A.

2011 – LZT Elterma SA is transformed into SW ThermAL S.A.

2012 – SECO/WARWICK S.A. and SW THermAL S.A. merge and SECO/WARWICK S.A. becomes a holding.

2013 – In Jundiai, SECO/WARWICK establishes SECO/WARWICK do Brasil.

2014 – SECO/WARWICK Germany is created.

2015 – SECO/WARWICK France is created.

2016 – SECO/WARWICK Services is brought to life to provide after-sales support for users/customers of heat treatment solutions.

2017 – A new company is established in India – SECO/WARWICK Systems & Services (India) Pvt. Ltd.

The SECO/WARWICK Group has production facilities in Poland, China, USA and India. Currently, the Group consists of 11 companies. SECO/WARWICK S.A. with its registered office in Świebodzin is the parent company.

The company has active cooperation programs with the Branch Faculty of the University of Zielona Góra in Sulechów, Łódź University of Technology, Poznań University of Technology, Silesian University of Technology, Rzeszów University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, Institute of Electronic Materials Technology in Warsaw, Institute of Metal Forming TU Bergakademie in Freiberg in Germany, Central South University in China, and National Research Saratov State University in Russia. Some of the implemented SECO/WARWICK projects are related to completely new advanced technologies, previously unavailable on the market, such as lines for graphene production.

The company has its own metallography R&D laboratory (Seco/Lab) where the Research and Development Department of SECO/WARWICK conducts its own research, performs metallographic tests and develops the technology it received or otherwise acquired.

Furnaces for heat treatment of metals in atmospheres, for aluminium heat treatment, vacuum furnaces, vacuum metallurgy, brazing of heat exchangers in protective atmospheres, custom-made furnaces, laboratory furnaces and furnaces for fire resistance tests, ashing furnaces and steel production furnaces.

Technologies[edit]

Within the scope of the vacuum technology: annealing, solution treatment, brazing, sintering, gas (HPGQ) and oil quenching, carburizing: (LPC) FineCarb and PreNitLPC, nitriding, and other special technological processes.

Within the scope of aluminium heat treatment and aluminium brazing in protective atmosphere: brazing, annealing, solution treatment, ageing, homogenization, heating, and melting.

Within the scope of vacuum metallurgy: equiax casting, directional crystallization, single crystal casting and electrodes, metal scrap consolidation, metal refining, plasma welding or disposal of hazardous and radioactive waste.

Within the scope of atmosphere heat treatment: gas carburizing, ZeroFlow method nitriding, carbonitridnig, brazing, quenching, annealing, heating, and austenitizing.

Furnaces are operated in special atmosphere and, as an option, can be equipped with tools for transferring the treated material, control systems for atmosphere, quenching and cooling. Their combinations constitute complete production units which can operate in batch or continuous mode.

Cooperation[edit]

SECO/WARWICK supplies its solutions to companies from over 70 countries.

Its customers include leaders of the automotive, aviation, electronic, machinery, tools, medical, recycling, power engineering industries, including nuclear, wind, fuel and solar energy generation, and steel, titanium and aluminium producers.

Awards and Certificates[edit]

In 2017, SECO/WARWICK was awarded the title of Production Company of the Year in the Production Industry Competition. In 2016, the company was awarded the 2016 Innovation Symbol for their research and development projects implemented with Polish and foreign technical universities, and for the development of the innovative graphene production line. The company was among the first in the world to introduce augmented reality technology to the heavy industry (Seco/Lens).

SECO/WARWICK was also among the nominees to the Hidden Champions by HSBC Bank. Hidden Champion is a title awarded to the companies who develop international operations. In 2016, in the innovation leaders ranking by Rzeczpospolita SECO/WARWICK ranked 9th in Poland[5], and ranked 1st in the ranking of innovative companies in the lubuskie region. Moreover, the company holds the Trusted Company Certificate and has many times been awarded the Business Gazelle[6] title. The company cooperates with techBrainers and is Astor Platinum Partner.
