Seiji Yamashita (born January 20 1976)[1] is a director of EARTH Holdings, which manages Japan’s largest beauty salon group “HAIR & MAKE EARTH[2],” consisting over 240 franchised stores throughout Japan. [3](Number of Employees: 3000, Annual Sales: 1.8 billion yen）
Yamashita is also the representative director of Sanctuary Corporation, which operates 70 franchised stores.
30 of the 70 stores originated from Sanctuary Corporation, and they are located in Kanto, Koshinetsu, Tokai, Hokuriku, Hokkaido and Fukuoka area. （Number of Employees: 900, Annual Sales: 0.5 billion yen）
Yamashita was born in Shizuoka. His publication, Successful Habits to earn 100 million yen a year (Nenshu Ichiokuen ni Naruhito no Shukan) (Diamond Press) received high reputation and resulted in publishing second edition in six days and third edition in 20 days after releasing the first edition. As of December 4th, 2018, the total sales reached 57,000 copies.

At the age of 19, Yamashita moved to Tokyo after graduating high school and started working as a hairdresser[4]. He earned 1.8 million yen a year. His income surpassed 100 million yen at the age of 31. He established Sanctuary Corporation at the age of 26. His company fostered the first manager when he was 30. He then fostered 38 new managers, who became owners of a subsidiary company, second, third, fourth, and fifth-generation subsidiary companies. 4 of these managers currently own a Ferrari. At the age of 31, EARTH Holdings was established, and he was appointed as a director.

- In 1994, after graduating from high school, entered a beauty school in Tokyo.
- In 2001, became the manager of Earth Ginza store.
- In December 2001, monthly sales surpassed 5 million yen.
- In 2002, became a franchise owner of Ginza store. Sanctuary Limited was established.
- In 2006, Sanctuary Limited fostered new managers and opened new stores.
- In 2007, annual income surpassed 100 million yen, at the age of 31.
- Became the director of EARTH Holdings
- In 2008, Sanctuary Limited shifted to Sanctuary Corporation. A new brand, SANCTUARY, was launched.
- In 2010, SANCTUARY owned over 50 stores.
- In 2013, fostered 6 new managers simultaneously, who now operate second-generation subsidiary companies.
- In 2014, SANCTUARY integrated into EARTH Ginza and launched a nail business.

Yamashita respects Toshiharu Kokubun, the founder of EARTH Holdings.
His beloved car is Ferrari 488 Spider. His hobby is to work.
