Senior Living Investment Brokerage, Inc is a privately held real estate brokerage specializing in long term care and seniors housing facilities. The offices are located in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and in St. Louis, Missouri. The firm has sold more than 800 senior housing facilities nationwide.

The business is a member of numerous state healthcare associations, including: the Washington Health Care Association.[1] In addition, Senior Living Investment Brokerage is also on the Executive Board of the American Seniors Housing Association. They are also a 12 year sponsor of The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) and a member of the Future Leaders Council.[2]

The brokerage was founded in 1997 by Grant Kief the current president of the firm. At its beginning the firm only offered its services to the Midwest, but by 2007 it expanded its operations to serve the entire continental United States. By 2009, after increasing its revenues from $2.9 million in 2005 to $17.6 million, it improved its rank to #530 on Inc's list.[3] As of 2018, the firm has 18 brokers and sales of over $2.7 billion nationwide,[4] and the Senior Living Investment Brokerage has more transactional experience than any other brokerage in this sector with a combined 158 years of experience.[5] In 2016 the brokerage ranked 2nd among senior housing transactions with 48.[6] The following year, Senior Living Investment Brokerage ranked third in number of transactions in senior housing at 42.[7]

Honors and Awards[edit]

In 2007, the company first made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies, ranking #814.[8] The firm went on to achieve this for 2008 and 2009 as well. In 2016, according to the national Real Estate Investor, Senor Living Investment Brokerage ranked 37th among all real estate brokerages in total global transaction volume with $719,820,000.[9] The following year, the Senior Living Investment Brokerage ranked 42nd with $503,704,000.[10]

Work for Charity and Community[edit]

From 2005 to 2018 Senior Living Investment Brokerage has received the Senior Housing PAC Platinum Circle Award represented by American Seniors Housing Association for their contributions to the Senior Housing PAC campaign.[11]
