Shabri Prasad Singh (born 21 December 1984 in New Delhi, India)[3] is an Indian author and mental health activist. In 2012, she was diagnosed with borderline[4] personality disorder because of that she wrote a library On World Mental Health Day, 10 October 2017, she published a book called The Borderline. Shabri is a published author, Gurgaon Literature Festival Director[5], a mental health activist. Raised in London and New Delhi, she studied Anthropology and Psychology at the City University of New York.[6] [7]

Early life[edit]

She was born in Chandigarh, India. She finished her high school years at New York City College. In 2007 she graduated from the University of Psychology and Anthropology.[8]

Writing[edit]

In 2017, Singh released a novel, Borderline, based on her experiences with borderline personality disorder (BPD). The novel's protagonist, after the death of her father[9] struggles through unhealthy coping mechanisms and self-destructive behavior before being diagnosed with BPD.[10]Singh wrote the book in response to a suggestion from her doctor.[11] [12]
