Shadrack Henry (1980-Present) is a Christian rap artist from Miramar, Florida.[1]

Artist Biography[edit]

Shadrack Henry is a Christian rap artist from South Florida whose musical style blends powerful and carefully crafted lyrics, with smooth harmonic vocals and hot beats.

Born in Miami, Florida, Shadrack became acquainted with adversity at an early age. In addition to never meeting his biological father, he spent a portion of his childhood growing up in the tough neighborhoods of Liberty City and Overtown. Despite being surrounded by drugs, gangs, poverty, and violence, his mother and two older brothers helped keep him out of trouble and grounded in school.

At the age of seven, Shadrack was separated from his family and placed in a foster home with his infant sister. During his nearly 10 years in foster care, he was introduced to Jesus Christ by his foster parents, Prince and Edna Lewis, and developed a passion for writing and producing music. Reunited with his family at the age of 15, Shadrack continued to hone his creative skills and eventually formed half of the rap duo C-n-S with his best friend Cory Pierce. C-n-S (Christ Inside) would go on to release several local hits, including "Celebrate”, “Heaven”, and "Were You There."

After graduating from college and several significant life events, Shadrack decided to pursue a solo career. Following years of prayer, blood, sweat, tears, and doubt, he finally released his first globally distributed record entitled “The Transformed Album” in 2018.

While his life’s journey has not been an easy one, Shadrack believes that if his story and music can inspire and empower just one person, it would have been worth it.[2]
