Natalia Gadzina (born 1991 in Wałcz, Poland), known professionally as Shagreen, is a Polish singer-songwriter, music producer.[1] and violinist[2].

Career[edit]

As a child, Natalia Gadzina participated in many singing contests and talent shows. She won an episode of the Polish TV program "Szansa na sukces" and took part in the show's 2004 final at the Congress Hall in Warsaw, where she won 2nd prize[3].

Since 2013 she has been working with Polish artists like Marcelina, Janusz Panasewicz[4], Łukasz Zagrobelny and Ania Wyszkoni. She has been working on music scores for Polish movies like "7 uczuć"[5], "Heavy Mental"[6] and "Psubrat"[7] as a vocalist and violinist.

In 2015 she started making remixes of Polish artists' songs like Lari Lu - "Biała Noc (Natalia Gadzina Remix)"[8] and Small Mechanics - "Dreamless Sleep (Natalia Gadzina Remix)"[9]. In 2017 she won 2nd prize in NEXTPOP 2TRACK Rework Contest as Shagreen[10]

In March 2017 Shagreen released her first single "Shadows" and since then she has released 3 more singles: "Desire", "One Word" and "This This"[11]. In March 2018 No Devotion Records released her debut EP "Darkest Place"[12][13]
