Shajil Anthru ( born in 1968 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India) is an Indian writer and teacher.

The India Book of Records..[1]and The Asia Book of Records[2]recognized him for authoring the shortest love story in the world "Ey… CHU (2019)[3].Shajil Anthru has also created the new poetic form - Fishbone Poetry[4] and founded Zeroism.Shajil Anthru is the Chief Editor of "Litterateur Redefining World"[1] and established the K M Anthru International Literature Prize[5]

Personal Life and Education[edit]

He is the son of Jameela A and K M Anthru. He married Mini H S, and they have a daughter, Roshni S[6], in 2012.

He completed his schooling from St Roch's Convent in Trivandrum and St Joseph's High School, in Trivandrum. Studied for pre-degree at Government Arts College in Trivandrum and earned a B.Tech Degree in Applied Electronics and Communication Engineering and a Master's degree in Technology (M.Tech) in Electronics and Telecommunication from the Kerala University,.He holds a PhD (Hons) in Literature from the Euro Asian University[7] .He also created World’s Shortest Story writer in three words[1][2] Zeroism[8].and Founded Fishbone Poetry in 2020[4]

Career[edit]

Shajil Anthru joined Hindustan Latex Ltd in Trivandrum as an Instrumentation Engineer in 1991.In 1997,left the job and became a lecturer in Instrumentation at Kerala Polytechnics.He has served as the Principal of the Government Polytechnic College in Attingal and Vennikulam[9], Thiruvananthapuram.Shajil Anthru is a Board Member of International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science (IRJMETS)[10] and Fellow Member of International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR)[11] w.e.f. May 2021.He was one of the signatories of ASAP Kerala’s ‘Industry on Campus’ initiative[12] October 31, 2022 .
