Sheena Anne Kadi (born July 14, 1982) is an American politician living in Denver, Colorado. A member of the Democratic Party, she currently serves as spokesperson and vice-chair at the Colorado Democratic Party. 1 2 and as Public Information Officer and Communications Director for the Colorado Department of the Treasury.3. She is an alumnus of Lourdes University, and is a Anti-Defamation League Robert B. Sturm Leadership Fellow.4

Kadi first entered politics in 2004 during the Ohio Issue 1, Definition of Marriage Initiative election. Under Toledo, Ohio Mayor Jack Ford's mentorship, Kadi began her political career. 5

In 2013, as Deputy Field Director for Freedom Indiana, Kadi led the field and political team that successfully stopped Governor Mike Pence’s administration in passing a state constitutional amendment banning gay marriage in Indiana.6 7.

As deputy director at One Colorado, Kadi advocated for several LGBTQ inssues, including protecting LGBTQ youth in foster care systems, 8, same-sex marriage 9, banning conversion therapy, 10, and allowing transgender Coloradans to update their gender on their birth certificate 11

Kadi ran the 2020 independent expenditure campaign in Colorado for Service Employees International Union. 12

Kadi has served as a Senior Advisor to several candidates and elected officials, including Colorado Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo. As a national leader in the LGBTQ community, Kadi has commented on , and frequently pens op-eds on LGBTQ issues.13

She was named a 2023 Colorado LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce: 40 under 40 Business Leader, and was featured in the Colfax Ave's "Joy of Pride" series. 14 15
