Dr.Shihab Al Riyami

Shihab Aldin Ahmed Al-Riyami (born July 14, 1978) is Omani volleyball player, coach and broadcast announcer. In the 1997s he was a player in super league Al-Kamal WA Alwafi Club and Bahla Club that won two Silver and Bronze medals at the 1998 and 2000 Oman Super League. Also, He played college volleyball for the Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, where his team won more than four national championships locally and two medals in International events. He went on to win the gold medal again at the Omani an Super league and OVA Oman Volleyball Federation Volleyball Club as Head coach of Seeb Club. Also, he coached many volleyball clubs in super league such as Muscat club, Saham club, Army team where his teams won many medals with them and one championship under him as Head Coach. He also coached Oman Senior National Team and Junior National in GCC Tournaments and Asian cup and got Silver medal in GCC Juniors Championship. He got many desks in his career at OVA since 2003 as Head of Coaches Committee, Chairman of Technical Committee, Director of Coaches and technical committee. Also, he supervised of coaches at Sports Training Centers in Sultan Qaboos Sports Academy. Since 2018, Shihab Al-din has been as Fivb International Coach Instructor and he conducted more than 64 Coaches Courses in the world. Beside of that, he has been in AVC Asian Volleyball Confederation as Coaches Committee member since 2012. Shihab Aldin is currently the Euro Asia Coaches Program experts Group in AVC and Director of Development Committee in OVA Oman Volleyball Federation. Also, he is a head coach of the Sultan Qaboos University in Oman and teaching LTAD Coaching Program in Ministry of Sports and culture in Oman.
