Shokran Parwani (born 16 January 1992 in Kabul, Afghanistan) is a German professional boxer, the 2019 German Champion and former International Champion (WBF) in the Cruiserweight division.[1][2]

Personal life[edit]

Shokran Parwani grew up alongside his three brothers. After his father was injured in 1999 by gunfire from the Taliban, a Deobandi-Islamist terrorist group, his family fled to Germany. He lived in the Steilshoop district of Hamburg for a long time. Before his career as a boxer, Parwani attended a secondary school for business studies. After graduating, he decided to work as a freelancer in the catering industry while he simultaneously prepared for his professional career. Shokran Parwani currently lives in Hamburg and is the father of boxing talent Hafiz "The Future" Parwani.

Professional boxer[edit]

Shokran Parwani made his debut as a professional boxer in Hamburg at the age of 24 on 3 July 2016 against Ognjen Maric. After seven wins in a row, he won the WBF International Cruiserweight title with a technical knockout in Essen on 8 August 2016.
