Shuoji Zhou is the founder of Beijing, China based crypto-asset manager Fintech Blockchain Group (FBG) Capital. In one year the company turned $20 million into $200 million, and has employees in China, New York, South Korea, Singapore and New York.
Early life and education
Shuoji Zhou was born in 1982 and grew up in Yancheng, China. He attended the University of Electronic Science & Technology in central China, studying applied math.
When Zhou completed his studies he worked as an IT consultant for IBM and then Oracle. In 2014 he took $10,000 of his own money and began trading bitcoin. In 2015 he left Oracle and began to trade crypto-currency full-time, amassing $100,000. By early 2017, after joining with other Chinese traders to pool their money and forming FBG, together they had control of about $20 million.
