Shyam Temple Guwahati

Shyam Mandir is a temple of Lord Krishna in the Narengi neighborhood of Guwahati.

Location[edit]

It is located within the Indian Carbon Ltd. Complex at Narengi. The temple is built away from the hustle and bustle of the city at the top of a small hill. The nearest bus stop is Narengi. It is also near to the Noonmati Refinery.

History[edit]

The temple was buit by Prabhudayal Himatsingka, owner of Indian Carbon. His statue is erected within the temple premises as well.

Idols[edit]

In addition to an idol of Lord Krishna, there are idols of Shri Radha Krishna, Shri Ram, Laxman, and Maa Sita.
