Sidsel Kjøller Damkjær

Sidsel Kjøller Damkjær is a Danish entrepreneur, innovator and designer.

Born in 1976 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Sidsel is best known for her influence in the public through her design thinking and for her companies Re-Frame and NØD snacks. Sidsel has been exhibited widely with her creations and designs from fashion to projects as the design of the uniform for the Danish policeforce[1] that was top nominated at Index Design to Improve Life Awards . Sidsel was educated tailor in 2000 and won the same year the Danish Championship in tailoring. As a fashion designer she worked for Baum und Pferdgarten, Bruuns Bazar and Everlast . Based on environmental considerations she decided to quit the fashion industry and decided to set up her own business, Re-Frame, which offers lectures and counselling. She is the author of three received her master from The Royal Danish Academy, Design school and was selected for the Golden Fur Pin in 2007 [2] Sidsel In 2013 Sidsel received a degree in process consulting and systemic thinking from UCC and began a close collaboration with Index Design to Improve Life Education [3]to educate Elsinore Municipality in innovation, co-creating a new innovation method. Sidsel has been working in Europe, with several years in Paris, France and in Asia and in 2016 she lived with her family in San Francisco, California. In 2015 Sidsel co-founded the proactive initiative and company Nordic Food Tech with offices in Denmark and in California, USA.
