From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Sociable Soccer[edit]

Sociable Soccer is an arcade football game designed by Jon Hare (Tower Studios) and developed by Finnish studio Combo-Breaker. The game is inspired by English football, with pace, tackles, and end to end action in focus.

Apple Arcade Version[edit]

Sociable Soccer was released by publisher Rogue Games on Apple Arcade (iOS, MacOS and tvOS) on the 8th of November 2019.

The game is played either with touch screen or by connecting bluetooth controllers to the device. There are several modes to play in and those are Friendly, World, and Ranking mode. In friendly mode you can play single player, 2-player and online PvP. In World mode you play through different competitions. In Ranking mode you setup your own team that you build on by collecting cards, you then play in Streak Mode or Challenge Mode to earn better cards and move up the rankings by drawing or winning games.

Steam Early Access Windows Version (discontinued)[edit]

The game was announced on the 15th of November 2015 and was released on Steam Early Access on the 20th of October 2017. The game has had three updates on Steam Early Access with the latest released on the 8th of December 2017. [1] On the 29th of August 2019, game designer Jon Hare announced that the game was close to being released world wide on mobile and that the PC version would then be pulled from the Steam store. He also offered all customers having bought the Steam early access version their money back.
