History[edit]

Sonic Amazon was formed by Adriano Taveira in 2017 as. an attempt to release songs he'd written that were just sitting. Adriano cited the expertise of music producer Brad Grobler best known for producing the hit song "dance" by Dance Nation. In 2018 Belle Johnson was brought in to demo a song for the duo. Things went so well they decided to release their single "come on over". They achieved moderate success with their first single "come on over" after Dj Mike Rizzo created a dance mix charting #30 on billboards dance club charts top 50, #29 on MasspoolDjs top 60 and #24 position on Dj national times charts.

In 2021 the trio decided to take a break to focus on their own solo projects. Brad Grobler has since started his own production company Big Productions. He also released four singles and travels Europe as a DJ. Belle Johnson released an ep "real thing" with Grobler on production and she continued touring with Kanye West and the Sunday service choir. In November of 2022 Johnson became the new lead singer of 90's dance duo LaBouche.[2] [1] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
