Content is Queen is a podcast marketing agency and podcast community network created to amplify minority voices, including women, people of colour, people with disabilities and people from the LGBTQIA+ community within podcasting. It is the UK's first diverse podcast network.[1].

Content is Queen supports emerging podcasters to develop, record and market their podcasts through one-to-one services and as part of a tiered membership scheme. It also provides consulting services to brands and organisations looking to expand into the audio space or target niche audiences. It currently has two professional recording studios, based in Somerset House and in Peckham Rye.

In 2021, Content is Queen won Gold at the 11th annual Lovie Awards under the Podcasts: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion category.[2]

Imriel Morgan, Content is Queen's CEO, founded the business in 2018. She is also the host of the Wanna Be podcast.

WOMEN'S UK PODCAST FESTIVAL

In 2018, Morgan set up the UK's first women's podcast festival held at King's Place, London[3].

The festival's programme included various live podcast recordings and panel events featuring speakers Fiona Sturges, Anna Doble, Chrystal Genesis and Anita Rani and more, alongside podcasting workshops.

Sadia Azmat and Monty Onanuga of BBC podcast No Country for Young Women held a panel discussion entitled 'What We Wish We Knew Before We Started', and Morgan hosted a Wanna Be podcast episode for a live audience.

The festival has since returned annually, except in 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic. The Women’s Podcast Festival will return in March 2022.

PODCAST PRODUCTIONS

In 2017 Morgan launched Wanna Be, an original podcast series that shares the stories of successful people within the creative and entertainment industries and their tips and strategies that have helped their progress[4]

Wanna Be is produced by Content is Queen and hosted by Morgan. It has featured guests including London Mayor Sadiq Khan, American actress Amandla Stenberg, actress and presenter Jameela Jamil, and artist and video director Daps.
