Sorry 3 Tha Wait is a promotional mixtape by the Vernon native rapper Basel, named as an attempt to apologize for the continued delay of his original debut projet, Green Slide Park. Basel said the mixtape would have about ten songs and be similar to No Ceilings, with him using other artists' tracks and making a cover track. It was released for digital download on December 4, 2018 at 4:12, and received generally positive reviews.
Green Slide Park is currently set to be released on February 12, 2019
Background[edit]
Basel has stated the project the decision to drop he tape was made minutes for his release, to ease the impatience of fans waiting on Green Slide Park. The Mixtape was originally announced on Twitter "randomly decided to organize mostly release music but check out that Bad Actors and Myself Part 1! Dropping outta nowhere cuz im bored af at 4:12 AM" "Did It Again" was the first track released off the mixtape on September 22. It was actually released before the track it is stated to sample "Servin H" by Kevin Gates. On November 21, Basel released tracks, "GREEN" featuring Lil Snupe , "Gun On The Shelf" , and "Phones" featuring Harley. The former is a tribute to Hip Hop legend, Addarren "Lil Snupe" Ross.
