Early Life and Family

Sri.Hanumantha Gowda was born in ChikkanayakanaHalli,Tumakuru,Karnataka. His parents were from an agricultural background. He completed his early education,SSLC/PUC in Tovinakere and later moved to Bengaluru to complete BA(Bachelor of Arts) degree. From his early student days Hanumantha Gowda was drawn towards theatre. He loved watching theatre acts ,understanding the act and later discussing various aspects of theatre with his friends.

He first played the role of Hamlet in the theater act of Hamlet at V.V.Puram College,Bengaluru. The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, often shortened to Hamlet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare. The play dramatizes the revenge Prince Hamlet is called to wreak upon his uncle, Claudius, by the ghost of Hamlet's father, King Hamlet. Sri.Hanumantha Gowda was widely praised for his performance.

From Childhood, Sri.Hanumantha Gowda developed a keen interest towards Kannada Literature. He spent most of his time reading various Novels,Plays,Essays,Autobiography's along with his academics. This interest helped him to become a profound speaker which he is today. Sri.Hanumantha Gowda was also drawn towards various social issues and started working as a volunteer in various charity events and social events to help the poor and needy people. He is also an active political member today with neutral political view towards various political parties.

Acting Career

Sri.Hanumantha Gowda made his debut in "Chittarada Baduku" a 1999 Kannada serial. He later played the role of Birbal in Kannada serial "Birbal". Later he acted in blockbuster Kannada serial "Muktha Muktha" . He played the character named "Susheel Kumar Binga" popularly known as "Binga", which brought him worldwide fame and recognition among Kannada audience. His role in the serial was a sensation in the Kannada serial industry . Muktha Muktha serial was mainly focused around the character "Binga". Sri.Hanumantha Gowda's outstanding performance, Bass voice , dialogue delivery,body language were the key factors for the success of the serial.This immense success has drawn worldwide fans to Sri. Hanumantha Gowda.

He made his film debut in "Namma Preetiya Ramu" a 2003 Kannada movie , where he played the lead villain role alongside challenging star Darshan.He has acted in more than 40 Kannada movies and more than 40 Kannada serials. He played the role of Principal in the latest Kannada blockbuster movie "Kirik Party". "Kirik Party" movie is now getting remade in Telugu and Sri. Hanumantha Gowda is playing the same role. His most recent movie was "Kofee Thota" and he was applauded for his performance in the movie by various movie critics including Viajaya Karnataka (one of the top news paper in Karnataka).
