St. Andrew's are a GAA club based in Muine Bheag. The club are solely involved in the sport of gaelic football, fielding teams at u17, u20 and adult competitions. Formed in 1952, the club has enjoyed tremendous success on the field and are one of the most successful clubs in the history of Carlow GAA. They have never won the Carlow Senior Football Championship but lost in two consecutive finals in 1977 and 1978.
