Stefan Moessle (born 1981), known professionally as Secret Sounds, is a German / American record producer, songwriter and musician. He is best known for his work with artists from the New York City area, his song productions for TV and film, and his contribution to San Marino's 2018 Eurovision entry "Who We Are"[1] which he produced and co-wrote.

Education and training[edit]

Moessle received musical training in trumpet, guitar, bass guitar and piano from the age 6 - 19. He graduated from highschool (Hans-Multscher-Gymnasium Leutkirch) with major in music. In 2002 he received his audio engineering degree from SAE Institute Munich, Germany. From 2002 - 2007 Moessle worked as an assistant for songwriter and producer Andreas Bärtels in Munich. Projects during this time included Michelle, Brunner & Brunner, Tanzalarm and Tabaluga TV.

Work as songwriter and producer[edit]

After moving to the New York City area in late 2007 Moessle collaborated with many independent artist and songwriters. He co-wrote and produced music for the feature film "Blood of Redemption"[2] (starring Dolph Lundgren), Lifetime's "Dance Moms" and ABC's "The Middle". Musical genres he produced include pop, rock, hip hip, dubstep, dance, Schlager, new-age, orchestral and more.
Since late 2015 Moessle lives and works again in Leutkirch, Germany.

Moessle has written and/or produced songs for NYC based artists including: Ashley Jana, Carlie de Boer, Fawn Segerson, Melissa Otero, Selloane.
As well as German / Austrian artists: Jenifer Brening[3], Nockalm Quintett, Olaf Berger, Frank Cordes.
