                                                      Stokehouse Precinct

This modern designed precinct is located on 30 jacka blvd, have three different venues within. It stands at the location of old stokehouse, which was a known for it’s fine dining in. It is owned and looked after by the Van haandel group which is owned by Frank van haandel.

The precinct is the only 5 green star building in all of the southern hemisphere. This precinct now homes three different venues, Stokehouse (itself), pontoon, and paper fish. The precinct re-opened in 2016 after a fire in 2011 which leveled the whole old stokehouse with an investment of $1.6m.

The Stokehouse restaurant

The stokehouse restaurant is a fine dining that expands in the third of the whole precinct and is located on level one. New stokehouse has a 12.5 meter oval bar, a lounge and a terrace to sit by the beach. It operates under the venue manager Hugh van haandel, and the head chef being Olli hansford who won the young chef of the year of 2015.

The Pontoon

Pontoon is a casual eatery which sits right under the stokehouse restaurant. This sand level bar occupies the entire ground floor of the rebuild stokehouse which was earlier known as stokehouse cafe or stokehouse downstairs. In this venue most of the space is taken by the huge bar and in the rest is casual seating area. It is operated under the venue manager Joe willis, assistant venue manager as Peter van Haandel and head chef being Rheese hunter.

The Paper fish

Paper fish is the new addition to the stokehouse precinct. It is casual take away fish and chips shop on the sand level next to pontoon. It is currently being operated under Jade ruston.
