Dr. Sudha Upadhyaya, is a renowned poetess and critic in the field of modern Hindi Literature [1]. She is presently an Associate Professor[2] at Janki Devi Memorial College[3], (Delhi University)[4].http://jdm.du.ac.in/hindi-permanent.htmlDr. Sudha Upadhyaya holds an important position in Hindi Literature today. She is known to have a a completely unique writing style which makes her stand out among other poets[5] and writers of today's generation. Her poems hold a political understanding which dares the reader to capture the beauty of her work and reach to a bottom-line criticism. Being a teacher[6], herself she raises her voice for every person who is deprived of education in the modern day society. She is counted among the most versatile poetess of all times. In her poems and stories, the way she catches the subtle points of society, history and politics, and in her criticisms, reflect upon the sociology, aesthetic sense, and Depth.
