Sunita Bangard is an Indian businesswoman and the President of Marketing at Idea Cellular. Sunita has previously worked with FMCG companies like Hindustan Unilever, L’Oreal Godrej and Colgate Palmolive.
Early life[edit]
Born and raised in Mumbai, she attended Apostolic Carmel Convent Highschool from 1973 – 1984. She then pursued a Bachelor’s in Financial Accounting and Economics from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai and followed it up with an MMS in Marketing and finance from University of Mumbai.
Career[edit]
Sunita Bangard started her career as a Brand Manager for Colgate-Palmolive in 1991. She then went on to work at Lowe Lintas, L’Oreal, Hindustan Unilever and more. She joined Idea Cellular Ltd. as Vice President Marketing in June, 2011. She has been the President of Marketing at Idea Cellular since October 2013, which is now Vodafone Idea Limited.
Awards[edit]
Sunita Bangard was presented with the Women Super Achiever Awards in 2014. She has been featured twice in the IMPACT's list of 50 Most Influential Women. She featured at number 9 in the year 2017 and number 16 on the list in the year 2016.
