Syed Sufwan Mohiuddin[1][2] (born 8 November 1999) is an Indian journalist[2][3] and author[1][4][5]. He has written over hundreds of news articles for Hyderabad-based English newspaper The Freedom Press.[6][2] He wrote his first book, Victim The Book Reason Behind the Crime[4][7] , at the age of 18 under the pen name SSMtypes[4][8] though he had also disclosed his name on the cover, that was published in July 2018. He later named his SSMtypes and started writing with his real name.
Personal life[edit]
Syed Sufwan Mohiuddin was although born in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, where his maternal-side of the family reside; he grew up in Hyderabad, Telangana in a traditional middle-class Muslim family.[1] He completed his schooling from Narayana group from Science background but went on to do BBA due to lack of interest.
He lost his mother, to COVID-19 in May 2021 during the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in India, before he could graduate. Currently, he is living with his father and two younger siblings. He later completed graduation from at RG Kedia College affiliated to Osmania University.[1]
