Takamatsu R. Emesiochel (born 17 September 1982) is a Palauan reggae singer, song-writer and record producer.

Career[edit]

1994–2000: Backyard Summer Jam[edit]

It was the summer around the late 90's, Taka and Producer Janss Emesiochel made his very first album with his classmates (Homer Hesus, Mowais Kangich, and Shinoy Emesiochel) . They first debut the album on a school concert which was held on Palau Community College and that's when his years of music career began.

2000–2005: Belauans and Various[edit]

While attending UH Manoa in Honolulu, Hawaii, Taka and Omdiais Skebong made several albums including Belauans, just a name of few. And in those days, that's when his fame rose from a very small island of the Republic of Palau all the way throughout the Pacific including Guam as well. Taka himself has also been performing at other pacific islands such as Guam and The Mariana Island.

2005–2014: Nangas Production [edit]

After returning home from school, he started a recording studio with his late uncle, Johnson Emesiochel. While recording outside the living room of his uncle's house, he came up with the production's label "Nangas" as they would always record near the outdoor kitchen sink. they didn't have available room to lay their equipment while recording so they decided to do it outside. and that's when Nangas Production started. In those days, he even performed several formal occasions of Japan Fair.<ref>"Japan Fair 2013".<ref>

2015–2018: T-Vibe Studio [edit]

While working with Nangas Production, Taka managed to start investing in his own studio. Little by little, he started T-Vibe Studio and has recording music ever since. He has also been performing on several occasion at his hometown and also been working with other producers like Ureked Ulengchong, Regner Techitong, and several others. His latest single, Yaksok was released right after Valentine's Day this year. His work of art made him get to the top of music video of the islands.<ref>"Mariana Variety".<ref>
