The station features African news and entertainment. It is run by Taraba News Media, which is owned by Gabriel Olayinka,[2][3] a prominent figure in Nigerian media.
The majority of Nigerians could access Taraba News on Facebook as of November 2010. As of June 2019, it is also accessible through its own website, via YouTube and the social media platforms Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp.[4]
In addition, Taraba News runs Taraba News Report and Play, a second station with an emphasis on interviews and Entertainment. Newspaper reviews, politics, education, event coverage, promotion, and advertisement are just a few of Taraba News Services' offerings.[5] Another popular category on the channel is sports programming, which includes sports analysis, auto racing, basketball, and other sports.[6]
