Thameens Films is a Motion picture production company involves in the film production , distribution and exhibition. The company was established by Shibu K as a movie distribution company in early 2000. After distributing around 92 films all across India, mainly in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, they stepped into production with their debut film ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi starring Dulquer Salmaan, Jacob Gregory, Aparna Gopinath and Tovino Thomas. Thameens films produced five films in Tamil and Malayalam and as of April 2018 are producing Saamy Square, starring Vikram in the lead role with Prabhu, Keerthy Suresh, Bobby Simha, and Soori, written and directed by Hari

Thameens Films was established by Shibu K in the Year 2012. Shibu K (Shibu Thameens) is the sole proprietor of Thameens Release. Thameens Maax Theatres are pioneers[citation needed] in the field of movie distribution, production and exhibition business.
