The Bump Class [1] [2] [3] [4] was created by sisters Dr Chiara Hunt and Marina Fogle. The Bump Class offers 8-week antenatal courses in London, taught by experts including; physiotherapists, GPs, Midwives and Breastfeeding specialists. [5] [6]


THE BOOK[edit]

Published in 2016 by Vermilion [7], and represented by United Agents [8], the book ‘The Bump Class; An Expert Guide to Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond’ is a week-by-week guide to the first year of motherhood.

ABOUT[edit]

Marina Fogle is married to the adventurer Ben Fogle. They have two children, Ludo and Iona. Marina teaches at The Bump Class as well as writing for various publications including The Telegraph [9] , The Times [10], The Huffington Post [11] . Marina is a columnist for The Mail on Sunday [12] and Baby Magazine [13] . She lives with her family in West London.

Since her third child, a son called Willem was stillborn in August 2014 [14], Marina has worked to raise the profile of stillbirth [15] , running The Royal Parks Half Marathon for Tommy’s [16] [17] as well as being a spokesperson for the charity. Marina is also a patron for Mama Academy, working to reduce the stillbirth rate [18] and an ambassador for Chasing Zero, supporting their pregnancy twinning programme in Africa [19]. Marina has appeared on BBC and ITV talking about parenting issues [20].

Dr Chiara Hunt is a private GP based at the Sloane Street Surgery, London. [21] [22] She has worked on the labour ward at St Mary’s, Paddington and Chelsea and Westminster, as well as in obstetrics and gynaecology. She looks after young families in London and has a keen interest in paediatrics and women’s health. She’s the mother of two young children and lives in West London.
