The Cleansing is a 2019 drama horror thriller film directed by Antony Smith. The film stars Luke Bailey, Rebecca Aycock and Simon Nehan in the lead roles. The film was set in a small village in Wales depicting the 14th century. The film had its theatrical release on 15 November 2019.
Synopsis[edit]
A 16 year old girl Alice (Rebecca Aycock) has been accused of being a deadly witch causing plague disease in a village in Wales. Her behaviour had claimed the valuable lives of several people including her own father. Suddenly The Cleanser comes to the rescue at the village to cure Alice's disease.
