The Duchess (Otford public house)[edit]

The Duchess is a public house located on Drury Lane, Otford (opposite the train station). It is run and owned by Nigel Hubbard, and is considered to be fictional.

History[edit]

The Duchess was founded in the year 2016 by an anonymous person who is often suspected to have been Chas from the popular rock duo Chas and Dave.

In 2018, the pub building began refurbishment works, which were needed as the north side wall of the building was missing (presumably stolen), which subsequently caused the building to fall over.
