The Emo Project is an internet radio station hosted on the Sirius XM Radio platform. The station is listed as Channel 713 and categorized under the company's Rock genre. The station can be accessed via The SiriusXM Streaming Website, the SiriusXM mobile app, or other connected devices that can access SiriusXM streaming services, like Smart TVs, media players, and wireless speakers. The station cannot be heard via traditional SiriusXM Satellite Radio or Dish Network.[1] [2]

The station was first announced in a SiriusXM blog post in 2017. The Emo Project is self-described by SiriusXM as “Throwback emo, scream-o and pop punk from the 2000's mixed with modern day emotionally driven alternative.” The station plays music from artists like Taking Back Sunday, Death Cab For Cutie, My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, AFI, Brand New, and Blink-182.[3] [4]

The station does not include any live DJs. However, several bumper (broadcasting) announcements encourage listeners to submit feedback to their dedicated e-mail address for the station. Although the station cannot be heard on traditional SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Alt Nation alludes to the station during their “Emo Halloween-O” event, which has aired during Halloween weekend for several years.[5]
