The Hi-Fi Lowdowns

The Hi-Fi Lowdowns are a musical group from Providence, Rhode Island. The band plays 1950's and 1960's inspired original rock & roll music, influenced by musical performers like Gene Vincent & The Bluecaps, The Johnny Burnette Trio, Roy Orbison, Jack Smith and the Rockabilly Planet, The Ventures and The Sonics. With a wide range of musical stylings, the band plays regularly in New England, including Massachusetts, Connecticut and their home state of Rhode Island. The band started playing together in early 2020, and started as a jam session that resulted in a handful of original song demos.

The Hi-Fi Lowdowns Line Up:

Johnny "Custom" Vivieros played upright bass player for psycho-billy favorites, Sasquatch and the Sickabillys, and is currently playing upright bass with Boston based, Diablogato.

Stan Kozlowski is a founding (and current) member of The Cranktones, The Barley Hoppers, western swing band The Spurs and surf band The Fathoms to name a few.

Jeff Deware was the lead singer and an instrumental songwriter for The BopThrills, a Rhode Island rock-a-billy quartette that included Stan & Johnny.

Jonny Safford was the former singer and guitar player for numerous bands including The Village Idiots, The Lucky Diamonds (with Stan Kozlowski playing drums on occasion), M-80, The Rudeness, as well as stints with Bob Marley tribute band Mellow Mood which was comprised of members of Roomful Of Blues, the Ravers and Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime.
