The John Birch Conspiracy Theory is the second extended play by American Mathcore band Botch. The album was released in 7" format in June 1996;[4][5] it's songs would later be re-released as part of The Unifying Themes of Sex, Death and Religion and Unifying Themes Redux.

The John Birch Conspiracy Theory was recorded in March 1996 at Uptone Recording Studio[6] and pressed on black, blue transparent, and clear yellow vinyl. Aaron Turner, former vocalist for the post-metal band Isis and founder of the record label Hydra Head Records, praised the group's interpretation of Carl Orff's "O Fortuna", describing it as "amazing," prior to their signing.
