The Pitch new article content ... The Pitch is a 2018 comedy/drama feature film written, co-directed and produced by Daniel Green and Freeway One Entertainment. The film stars Andy McPhee (Sons of Anarchy, Wolf Creek, Saving Mr. Banks), Daniel Green (Battalion, Twenty 7, White Lines), Anthony Brandon Wong (The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Flight of the Phoenix), Emm Wiseman (Winchester, Celeste), Benita Collings (A Country Practice, Janet King, Play School) and Mike Goldman (Hoges: The Paul Hogan Story, Robot 4, Big Brother). The Pitch centres around Damien Gooding (Daniel Green), an independent Sydney filmmaker with a thirst for fame and a knack for omitting 'certain parts of the truth for the greater good'. When Gooding's friend and mentor Bobby Berman (Anthony Brandon Wong) offers him a chance to pitch in front of a major film studio, the offer comes with a catch: Gooding will first need to attach a bankable star. When Gooding learns that once bad-boy now wandering earth-child artiste Alexzander is a speaker at a father and son retreat surrounded by tight security, he heads home to the family farm in the Capertee Valley to his estranged father Dallas (Andy McPhee) to coerce him into a road trip under the guise of making amends.
