The Quantum Wormhole BBS was created in August 2018 to aid in the revitalisation of the BBS community in the UK.
After watching The BBS Documentary[1] and reliving some of the best parts of the early 90's, it was time to bring out the big guns and start to create a BBS in the image of what once was. Little was known of just how many existing BBSes there are today, and since creating The Quantum Wormhole, has joined a retro community of thousands of existing BBSes and networks that will hopefully remain for many many years to come.
The Quantum Wormhole has an associated website[2] and you can also use standard TELNET applications to connect directly to the BBS using the hostname bbs.erb.pw[3]
The BBS is using Mystic BBS v1.12 A39[4] and is running on an Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Server at the home of the SysOp Christian Sacks aka MeaTLoTioN in Ramsgate, Kent, UK.
