The Saint is an upcoming action film directed by Dexter Fletcher, based on the character created by Leslie Charteris and reboot of the 1997 film of the same name.

Development[edit]

On June 17, 2016, Paramount Pictures will reboot the The Saint films with Lorenzo di Bonaventura producing through his company alongside Brad Krevoy and Robert Evans.^[1] On February 18, 2020, Dexter Fletcher was hired to direct the reboot, with Seth Grahame-Smith and Evans will be given posthumous producing credit.^[2]

Casting[edit]

On November 16, 2018, Chris Pratt was in talks to play Simon Templar in the film,^[3] until February 18, 2020, it was announced that Pratt did not sign on to the franchise.^[2] On April 21, 2020, Chris Pine is set to star in the film.^[4]
