From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Shape of Now (Spanish: La Forma del Presente) is a 2018 documentary film directed by Manuel Correa. The film was nominated for the Next Masters Golden Dove award at the 61. DOK Leipzig documentary film festival.[1]

Synopsis[edit]

While scientists, academics and activists attempt to picture what will happen in Colombia after the disarmament of the country's oldest guerrilla, a group of elderly mothers find a direct way to approach the possible killers of their disappeared children, forging at the very least a necessary and genuine encounter in the attempt to find clues about their whereabouts.

The film was made during and in response to the signing of the peace deal between the Colombian government and the FARC-EP guerrilla faction.
