The Temple is an unreleased British-Bhutanese horror film directed by Scott Spiegel and written by Peter Alan Roberts. The film stars Ian Buchanan, Emrhys Cooper, Andy Summers, and Keith Jefferson. The film was complete and brought to the 2017 Cannes Film Market for sale.[1]

Synopsis[edit]

Per Bloody Disgusting, the film synopsis reads:[1]

A group of young Americans ventures off to find a forbidden mountain temple in Northern Japan. Only to discover the horrors that lurk within.

Principal photography on the film began on 20 January 2016 in Bhutan. It is directed by Scott Spiegel and produced through production companies Happy Himalayan Pictures and Dream It Productions.[2][3] Suzanne Patrick, Kinley Pelden, Emrhys Cooper, and Donald A. Barton are the producers.[2]
