The Wedding Party is a 2017 American romantic comedy film, written and directed by Thane Economou. The film was shot in one continuous 119 minute take.[1][2]
Plot[edit]
When chaos ensues at his best friend's wedding, Jim (Blake Lee), a recently heartbroken groomsman, is tasked with managing the reception. In part with his former high school sweetheart, he’s forced to wrangle his unruly friends to maintain order, all while learning to love again.[3][self-published source]

Production[edit]
The film was shot entirely in one continuous 119 minute take. The actors and camera operators rehearsed on location for three weeks, and the entire film was shot a total of five times.[4] The released film is take five.[5]

The film played at film festivals such as the Sedona Film Festival and the St. Louis International Film Festival - where it received the Technical Brilliance Award.[6]
In August 2017, the film was released on Netflix.[7]
