The murder of Sophie Collombet
On the March 27 2014 the 21-year-old French student Sophie Collombet was raped and murdered by being bludgeoned in Kurilpa Park in Brisbane, Queensland. Sophie Collombet was on her way home from a three-hour lecture at Griffith University where she was studying her Masters of Business. On the 7th of April the Australian citizen Benjamin James Milward from city of Ipswich, Queensland was arrested and charged with her murder and rape. Benjamin James Milward as sentenced to life in prison for the murder and rape on 25th of October 2016 at Supreme Court of Queensland in Brisbane. [1][2]
