There are always more fish in the sea
"There are always more fish in the sea" is a proverbial phrase[1] usually stated to console someone after a failed romance. Charlie Siringo's 1885 A Texas Cow Boy contains a variant of the phrase: "there were just as good fish in the sea as ever was caught". Alternative rock band MGMT featured a song titled "Plenty of Girls in the Sea" on their 2013 self-titled album.[citation needed]
