Hi WikiMaster,

All the "References" have gone from my "Ferrolens" page as well from any previous page of it in the edit history.

The descriptions of the referenced peer reviewed published science articles are gone.

Seems to me that other pages have also the same problem.

An Error message says:

Lua error in Module:Citation/CS1/Identifiers at line 47: attempt to index field 'wikibase' (a nil value).

My other page "Quantum field of magnet" , has also the same problem with the references.

Thank you for trying to fix the problem.

What is the main cause of this problem?

Maybe if I knew I could next time I insert references, avoid it and don't cause problem to Everybodywiki.

In the "Ferrolens" page. the references text in all references 1 through 7 except reference 2, are still down and not appearing. No citatation details, doi etc. nothing.

Wondering however why reference 2 is okay and not the others?

Similirly, in "Quantum Field of Magnet" page all references 1 through 9 except again reference 2, are down.

Any thoughts of why this problem is?

And if this can be fixed?

Maybe that's because I have to install https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Citoid

Or you can try to edit your reference with VIsual Editor see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/VisualEditor/Citation_tool

I really would appreciate the first solution, you to install citoid :)

if that would aromatically bring back the missing citations

Actually citoid won't help :( so you can try to edit the citation in wikicode

There must be hundreds of pages currently with missing References citation text and broken.

I just clicked on one randomly here https://en.everybodywiki.com/Fran%C3%A7ois_David and this page has also the same problem with the References.

To ask to fix them individually is impossible I believe. Maybe if nothing fixes the problem automatically, you should seriously consider to revert back to the older version of the software. That should bring back all references and fix automatically the pages with this problem.
